bd251, how many "sides" does this coin have? Scalloped / 16. Note: not an entry - seeking clarification of rules. Rwanda 2 Francs 1970

I would tend to say 32 sides. If each concave curve is a "side" then so each convex curve would be a "side"......

Good entries so far, although a flying kangaroo might be pushing it a bit... Quote: bd251, how many "sides" does this coin have? Scalloped / 16. I was honestly kind of hoping I wouldn't need to make a decision about scalloped coins. Lol. After a bit of browsing coin shapes on Numista, I going to say it would count as 16 sides

Yemen 1993 1 rial. 21 sided apparently. 1 flying thing 2x If the distance to mint is less than 10,000 km (6, 210 mi) Paris, France to Sian, Yemen...5335km "Adjustment" factor Number of edges divided by diameter (in centimeters). 21 / 1.995 = 10.526 1 x 2 x 10.526 = 21.052

triggersmob, are you referring to icositetragonal coins? I don't have one, but you probably do.
