I came across this coin the other day, noticed the date was a little funny. I saw in RedBook where the over-date doesn't really exist. Their picture and mine look different. What do you think?

Die gouge? It's possible it maybe a OVD, but would need clearer, brighter image to discern that. Maybe keener eyes can post their opinions.

Looks like the second 1 was punched awfully close to the 6. Can't see anything under it, though.

I appreciate ya'lls comments, and cannot disagree with anything said. I'm afraid there's nothing definitive on the coin though.

I think we need a much larger close-up of the date area only.
