Hi folks trying to find out why the S in trust on this 1958 Lincoln has a cross-bar on it.
Your thoughts as always would be appreciated

If you look the top curve of the S is still there untouched

ZK, it very much looks like it took a hit even though the upper curve in the S is still intact! but another remote possibility would be a Die chip which a clear and focused pic. would be needed.
