I have trouble with these and would like your opinion, thanks. Also, in case you are wondering, the tiny area inside the upper loop of the 'S' is raised.

I'm by far an expert,But the MM looks correct to me.

Thanks Redifin. I looked at a similar post and saw some pics that coop put up. It looked to me like the coin I have matches the one he shows as being inverted. I don't have a good grasp on these so that is why I posted it.

Called "ball serif", ball on bottom.

Wrong mint mark style for the inverted. That is MMS-004 (Trumpet Tail). The inverted is on MMS-006 (Ball Serif). Here is a link to San Francisco mint mark styles: http://varietyvista.com/01b%20LC%20...20Styles.htm

After looking at it again, I'm seeing stuff behind the MM. Maybe a RPM? Could others weigh in?
