Personally, I would say cent rolls because there are a few key varieties that are still in circulation, such as the 1985 and 1965 "pointed 5" versions. Look through the posts here for the diagnostics.

If you are into saving bullion, then you'd do well to search nickels and save any pre-1982s. I've had offers of almost double face value for them (not counting shipping costs). Cents and a little better (in my personal experience) as far as finding older coins and possible varieties. I've also done well with dimes, having found about 9 silver dimes (7 different dates), at a rate of one every 20-30 rolls, but I mostly stick to cents and nickels.

Topher, I would judge the 1.0 Ni 5c are pretty much pulled from Canadian circulation? It would be a rather easy task with a magnet (ok, you'd grab a few steelies too).

Kurt, I find the pre-1982s are about 20-25% of the time. Enough to keep searching. LOL
