2nd 2002 Quarter Doubled Die? Also Something In Between The "in"?

They are both the same year, and was wondering if this is just the normal for this year? Or are they both an error? Report this Post to the Staff

Mark1959 Pillar of the Community 7234 Posts	Posted 09/21/2017 1:02 pm I'm not positive but are you sure that isn't a combination of shadows and glare from your lighting source? If you have a 10X or 20X loupe, look at those areas with it to confirm there's actually something there. Report this Post to the Staff

For example the E looks like there is thickness there but I was having a hard time seeing that without the microscope. Or do you mean the"in"? That's on both the 2002 quarters which you can clearly see in any light. That's what has me puzzled. Report this Post to the Staff
