2nd 2002 Quarter Doubled Die? Also Something In Between The "In"?

This is very much the same thing as I posted with
the other 2002 quarter. With the "IN" there is also
something there. They are both the same year, and was wondering if this is just the normal for this year? Or
are they both an error?

I'm not positive but are you sure that isn't a combination of shadows and glare from your lighting source? If you have a 10X or 20X loupe, look at those areas with it to confirm there's actually something there.

Well I took these pictures through my microscope, but lighting can play tricks it seems. For example the E looks like there is thickness there but I was having a hard time seeing that without the microscope.

Or do you mean the"in"? That's on both the 2002 quarters which you can clearly see in any light. That's what has me puzzled.

To me that looks like the die has slightly chipped on the I & N - but see if others have a different perspective of what happened.
