Please can someone identify the following coin. It has diameter of 2cm and has a portrait of George (I can't make out the date). The reverse has a shield on the back.
The only British coins with this shape of shield on the reverse were the George III 'spade' guinea and half-guinea. Lots of brass gaming tokens exist in the styles of those coins.
