Hi Everyone!

I have a few coins that I have had for a long time but I have quite limited knowledge of grading(apart from what I have learned here)

They are a 1909 Lincoln Cent and a 1886 Five Dollar Coin
Could you please help out?

Thanks in advance!

Could you try to get closer pictures, and/or crop out the background of the current ones? If we could get a close up picture of the 1909 penny, it could be the difference of several thousands of dollars in value.

Ahh, found it. 1909S is a faker, 90% sure. Reverse seems wrong. Impression is too weak but is clear? brings a red flag up, another flag is left lower wheat stalk, what is that crap? A disparagy as that show like an underweight/thin planchet strike. Also looks "half" proof, partial strong square rim on both sides but unless reverse is rotated, doesn't match striking pattern/ability?

Dollar, no idea, not my thang! Although I do like the bearded lady!

I'm still fairly new to this but I'm pretty confident that the $5 coin has been cleaned. As far as the 1909 [

Agree VF-30 on the $5, would like to see a sharp close-up on the '09-S.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the info. I will get a closer shot of the 1909 tomorrow at my office.

I am trying to find my receipt for it, I got it from ebay but it was years ago. I seem to remember it was from a big account like well over 3000 feedback

I hope it wasn't a fake, but you can never be sure. Thats why I am here I guess!

09S questionable authenticity, get a good picture of the date and MM. The S appears to of the style used in Chinese fakes. If it is genuine, it has been harshly cleaned.

From the current pictures, it looks like this (or imitation of) genuine 1909 S VDB mintmark location.
