I'm Canada based and will be visiting Liverpool in January. Are there any good coin shops in Liverpool or Manchester?
Thanks

There is this one in Liverpool (but I've never visited).

Depending how keen you are there is a coin show on the second sunday of the month at Birmingham known as the Midland coin fair.
The train goes direct from Liverpool to Birmingham and loads of dealers selling everything you can think off.
Nothing will compare to going there for a couple of hours apart from the Wakefield show which is the last sunday of the month.

I've had many early Sunday morning drives to the Midland. On the way back listening to the football on radio 5.My wallet is emptied and I'm sure the grass grows twice as fast.Coin shops are like hens teeth.
Every 3 months the fair is bigger with smaller dealers getting tables.
The coin fair is held at the NEC motorcycle museum and worth a day out in its own right.

Thanks for the replies. Unfortunately I won't be there for the Midland; the curse of the expat UK coin collector!

In UK IMO the Midland is the best followed by Wakefield...The London fairs are too expensive and full of overpriced gold.Get to the Midland and have a great day out.
