Found this piece of silver coin...looks like Fleur de lis on both sides. It was found in Nova Scotia on what started as a French site dating to the early 1700s. Hope that helps.
I heard back from Arie and he didn't have any luck positively identifying the coin. He did say that he suspects that those are back to back petals and not actually Fleur de Lis so may not be French at all...
