As for proofs, I wont crack a proof set...
I can't get myself to crack a "proof set" either !
All of my proof sets were cracked and the contents moved the their respective Dansco albums.

Mint sets from the 50's and forward are just awesome. Once you get to the late 50's they are very affordable. Late 60's and on and they are downright undervalued. You get awesome well struck examples for little money.

You would think that with all the mint sets broken apart that their prices would move up eventually, but that may be a long time coming. I can buy the mint set cheaper than buying the individual coins sometimes so I would think that the splitting up of mint sets will continue.

It seems like mint sets in OGP are still easy to find. Their being priced lower than the individual coins will continue until that changes.
