It doesn't look like a RPM, But there is something around the MM. Posting the obverse and reverse at the same time gives us more evidence to give you a better idea whats happening with the coin!

To me it looks like the West side of the MM has taken a hit.It does not not look like a RPM to me but who knows ,may be a focused close up would tell a different story.

I think Chase might be right - SW corner of MM flattened and extended be a hit.
