It is silver, has a counterstamp, and the writing is possibly Thai/Siam. One side (left coin pic) of the coin was preserved with a thin plastic like film that is peeling. Thanks for the help.

Definitely islamic, although I can't be sure where. Can you get an accurate weight and size?

The coin is Islamic and possibly Seljuq. The counter mark looks like a Chinese Chop mark.
