how would you grade this coin? It has a quite good strike in comparison to other coins of this one year type.

It's uncirculated, but it's got too much chatter to get above a 62. Those copper spots are a problem. They eliminate a number of collectors who simply don't buy gold with copper spots.

In Germany, I'd go for a vz/vz+ so xf/xf+. For an unc-grade (Stempelglanz) there are too many marks around the portrait.

Thank you for the opinions! I think that the copper spots will not annoy any serious collector of german kaiserreich coins. I would have graded the coin for a xf+ at the obverse side as well, because of it looks quiet fresh. On top of that the stucture of the neck is always ''uneven'' = It looks hacked up, but not all of the porosity is made by little scratches.
Are there furter opinions about the grading?
