1960 Proof Half Error Or Damage? - Coin Community Forum

Gizmo1211 New Member United States 8 Posts	Posted 11/05/2017 12:44 pm Hey all, I have this 1960 proof set, the half has an indent after the I and a smaller one after E in Liberty, and the space between I and B looks bigger (I read this could be an error) just not sure, also the dime has discoloration on Lincoln's eyebrow. Yes, I did take them out of original packaging, because those things are terrible! Any thoughts would be great Thanks, oh, and sorry picture isn't great having trouble with glare! Chase007 Pillar of the Community United States 7516 Posts	Posted 11/05/2017 1:25 pm Can you post a close up of the areas in question? going by the Pis. and your description it looks like it could be a struck thru. debris.but a closer look will help. Discoloration on you dime sounds like it could be due to the moisture trapped inside the holder,it was a good idea to take it out of the holder.
