I read the 1982d small date penny is the one worth money.question I have a 1982 small date I think its this considered any error? Its weights 3.1 grams!!

1982 was a transition year. They were both produced at 2.5 grams and at 3.1 grams.

You are correct on being a SD. weight of 3.1 is indicative of being Copper. Now if this coin was a D mint then it would have been the One! this one is worth just the face value.Keep the search going.
