no neck. I've read this can come from the die being polished too well and a portion of the die is worn down. Is the a error coin that has value?

I'm not sure of the value,But it is a polished die. Probably from a clash. I call them " no neck nicks" ( from a Bob and Tom skit) but I do like them!

Nice find! I've got a couple of these, one is a Modern. I'll show you them after a while. I have to switch pc's to do it. Quote: Is the a error coin that has value? It's an Over-Polished Die error, worth a few bucks.

CoinMasters, those are nice ones. Over polished dies like the OP and you showed are worth hanging on to. Very unique. :)

You're welcome. I don't see ones this clean before. Usually, the necks are partially missing. The one from 2014 is the most unique one you have.

they are way cool. Not Doubled Dies or Rpm"s etc. but way cool in their own right. They're at the lower end of the spectrum, along with the nicer Strike Doublings, greasers, cracks, chips, etc., and are highly collected.

There are not Chase. I know that doesn't support my overly polished conclusion, but it's even more difficult for me to imagine one tiny speck of grease in that area that didn't affect the chin or clothing.

Quote:CCF is GREAT With the "High Enders" (DD's, RPM's, etc.), exacts are a must, for example - an RPM must be in an exact position, in exact correlation with surrounding devices, exactly like every other RPM of the exact same number. And that's fine, because that's exactly what's desired by almost all Variety/Error collectors. We also like the DD's that are exactly alike, the Wide AM's, etc. With the "Low Enders", (greasers, cracks, chips, etc.) The exacts end after the diagnosis that tells us the cause of the error. The only thing that matters then, is if we like it. Take an Over-Polished Die for example, a device doesn't always have to be completely missing as long as we find the overall appearance pleasing. Check this one out. I have looked at more coins than I can count. I really like the high end ones, but in between them, these keep me going.
