Burglar Smashes Hole Through Wall To Steal Collectible Coins
http://minnesota.cbslocal.com/2017/...ole-in-wall/

Quote:
MANKATO, Minn. (WCCO) — A burglar in southern Minnesota broke through a wall in order to steal some change.

It happened at FW3 Coins over the weekend.

The thief ran off with several thousand dollars' worth of coins. But how the thief managed to get inside surprised everyone from the owner to his customers.

Seems to be a common means of entry by these types of thieves in the past few years. Many stories of them cutting through walls and roofs to get past security features. Luckily it seems this robber didn't get too much.

My local coin dealer said that there have been break-ins in businesses adjacent to him and he thinks they are possibly scoping out ways into his storefront from less "fortified" neighboring shops.
Rest in Peace

At least my LCS puts all his display trays away in that huge weighted and concrete anchored safe each nite. He has only one business next door, snort, the criminals worst nightmare, a drug testing facility! They have a tendency to stay away from there!
