found this checking some coins. that I purchased as a lot. the previous owner had this coin marked as an error. any thoughts greatly appreciated. a second question in this lot of coins. there is some american errors coins. does any body know if the USA mints pressed steel penny coins in 1976. where do I need to go on the forum to get some information from the USA collectors . there is a lot of different american errors in the lot. I have purchased there is errors to all American denominations

Interesting coin . Exactly the type of error I can't help you with , but on the underlying revs. is this the "ADA" in Canada ? Seems to close to the rim .

Nice error coin.
In regards to your question on USA coins,
as far as I know USA 1 cent coins were copper up to 1982
when they switched to copper plated zinc.
If you have questions on US error coins look under the
US Discussion Forum. Go to the sub-forum thread and click on
"US modern variety error coins".
You can post any questions on errors you might have here
and they have many experts than can help.
