I've not the slightest idea how images this small, of a coin this badly damaged, could be evaluated in a conclusive fashion. It does the original posted a disservice, and deceives those reading, to answer the question as if a definitive opinion were possible.

Does appear to be massive ground contact damages, in a parking lot or street where the coin was squashed and twisted by car tires causing metal movement.
