Hey All,

Sorry to bother you with another question. I am buying some coin holders online and unfortunately they do not tell me what the window size is for each type of holder.

For Canadian large cents, what would an equivalent coin size be? Would a large dollar or a half dollar coin holder be the equivalent size? I am assuming they are American sized coins if that matters since the manufacturer has american coins in the packaging graphics.

Thanks for your help!

*EDIT* The reason I am asking is I do not collect American coins so I do not know the size equivalency between them.

Canadian large cents are a bit smaller than US half-dollars.

OK so in that case I think a half dollar holder would be a good bet. The other size down are nickel/quarters holders and large cents are larger than quarters.

The US small dollar 2X2 might be a better fit. The US small dollar is 26.5mm in diameter and the Canadian large cent is 25.4mm.

Looking at the sizes, I think you would want the baby dollar holders because the quarter dollar holders are about a millimeter to small.

Mine are in Loonie 2x2 holders, the .50 holders do work but there is space around the coin. I get them from CA

Unfortunately the only options I have are half dollar, large dollar and Canadian quarter holders so I will have to go with the half dollars for now.

Thanks so much for all your inputs!
