Watty New Member Canada 39 Posts	Posted 11/17/2017 11:19 am Everyone Was Fast And Helpful With My Last Batch So I Thought Instead Of Researching For Hours Id Get Some More Help With This Lot Determining If These Coins Have Errors Or Just PMD. This Is What I Cannot Decide On: 1.Does Jefferson nickel Have A Cud Error Or Is It Just A Very Deteriorated Die Typical For Nickels Of The 80s? 2. Does 1953 Canadian Penny Have Some Kind Of Lamination Error Or Is This Just Wear And Oxidization. Also Its Quite A Bit Thicker Than Normal But Weighs The Proper Amount, Is That Normal? 3. Are The Two 1961 D, 1954 D, 1959 D And 1971 D Lincoln Cents Struck More Than Once Or Just PMD? Thanks! * Moved by Staff to a more appropriate forum. Only thing NOT damaged by PMD, road dashed, is the 1961D. That looks to be a die crack face to rim, unless it's a hair/fiber in pix? The thickness if weight is right is probably a pressure of strike problem, too much causes the metal to move up more inside the collar. Every one of us made mistakes (and occasionally still do ) and people here are exceptionally forgiving of honest errors, especially during the early learning process.
