I have no idea how to identify a doubled lips Lincoln Cent. So, I cannot say for sure whether your coin is a doubled die or not.

However, I did an overlay to check the gouge location and it seems the gouge on your coin is slightly off from the one pictured on doubleddie.com.

I see this kind of thing on 1959s quite often, and like Tanman have no idea how to figure out if any of them are doubled dies. Will be interested to see if there is some kind of secret to separating them out from what appears to be extremely common MD or master die doubling or ?

The doubling looks like MD, it is flat and shelf like!

Many of them do not look much like "shelflike" MD but more DDO-like. And I was sorta wondering about the listed one as well given how common this is.

I went through 50 of them and that one was defiantly different. As for md I don't know but it looked close. Can't really tell too much from wexler's pictures
