Happy Thanksgiving CCF Family! I just came across this beauty... on the top right corner of the Lincoln Memorial. I'm going to see if I can get this one correct. From what I see, it is a Retained Cud without a die break involved. I used my 30 times eye loupe, I can see the layers on one side of the Cud. Any thoughts? Thank you.

Its actually a die chip, a large one. Retained Cuds are part of a die break/crack. The start of a rim Cud is actually at times a circular crack, the that portion breaks off. A RIDB, retained interior die break s what you are thinking, but it is not, just chip
