Hi,
I suppose this jewish Shekel are fake. It's under weight, 11.42 gram. Diamater 23 mm. What more say it's a fake. Anyone who know more details. Even if it's fake is it done of silver?

Other thing of note is just what language is that? Sure ain't Hebrew or Aramaic!

Judaea, The Jewish War. Silver Shekel (14.14 g), 66-70 CE. Jerusalem, year 2 (67/8 CE).

Obverse: 'Shekel of Israel' (Paleo-Hebrew), ritual chalice with pearled rim, the base raised by projections on both ends; above, 'year 2'.
Rev. 'Jerusalem the holy' (Paleo-Hebrew), staff with three pomegranate buds, round base.

Thanks for your answers. It was my thought as well. I should have been surpised if it was as I bought this lot with coins for not that kind of Money.
