Very fine medals, cptbilly! And thank you - I really like it. Calling it a "Mardi Gras doubloon" is probably not accurate. Most doubloons are parade throws and weigh about 4.5 g, such as this one: Rex Mardi Gras 1982: Bourbon Louisiana Tricentennial

Thank you, GLB and Errers. Quote: I see several topics there including "busy". I have hundreds of these in zip-lock bags, and most of them are busy, dual-dated, and all fit in many topics. I'm not going to dearborn them into every possible topic and a few more too - everyone would get sick of seeing them. Knights of Babylon: Around the World In 80 Days, Mardi Gras 1970 Krewe of Caesar: Circus Maximus, Mardi Gras 1981 Pete Fountain's Half/Fast Walking Club: American Indians, Mardi Gras 1982 Krewe of Crescent City: Audubon Park Zoo, Mardi Gras 1984 Zulu Social Aid and Pleasure Club: African Mandrill, Mardi Gras 1984

another nice addition Hondo! I think I'll 'dearborn' another round later.. You see, it is great mind exercise for me ever since I suffered my TBI - trying to sort out coins like that keeps me thinking - it is a challenge. And as yo noted on a few occasions, failed some..
