Thank you all! Quote: ever since I suffered my TBI Dearborn, I did not know about that. I'll cut you more slack in the future. Quote: Surprisingly, they seems to be almost mint state. NumisEd, these doubloons are tossed from Mardi Gras floats and the lucky person who acquires them usually puts them away. Many will have scuffs and abrasions from hitting the street or sidewalk and the ensuing melee from parade-goers.

Quote: Dearborn, I did not know about that. I'll cut you more slack in the future. No worries Hondo! - it's not a state secret here in CCF Coin Land, most folks know. I just need to keep my brain on a task - an I found the "post your" topics a great way to keep it going. My psychologist usually has me doing silly children's wood puzzles that can create different shapes from these shaped pieces that when put away properly make a square. But he give me weekly tasks to make other shapes, like a fish, or bear and stuff like that. But that got boring real fast.

Hondo, you should start a new "Post Your ___" topic and get us all involved:

Picked this one up a while back but never imaged it. Then misplaced it and relocated in a search for another coin which is still lost. Hoped that it might be from the nearby town of Jennings, LA, but have not been able to confirm anything. It is listed on tokencatalogue, but with less information than here. JENNINGS / PRIM, letters and beads incuse. 5.51 g, 23.2 mm.
