A recent medal pick up, one of the "hunger thalers" concerning food shortages in Weimar Germany.  I have the obverse and reverse flipped sorry. The side with the woman and baby says something like "God grant us better times". The barren tree side basically says "high prices and lack of food" with the crossed swords symbol of Meissen porcelain. |

Hey Hondo, I think my token was issued for Berlin, but not 100% sure. "Old Timers Place"? I'm going to show up there for the early bird special and see what I can get there for 5 cents! Sounds like my kind of place!  |

Nice one that just showed up today. Not listed in either Tokencatalog or the Lipscomb Ohio tokens book. I will have to do some research to see what period it's from.  |
