Sorry it was not coins-
but I had the extreme pleasure this evening to attend a showing of the Artifacts of Tutankhamun boy king of Egypt.
I saw some of the finest gold work ever.
For items that were over three thousand years old,
the work was fine and precise.

If you ever get a chance to view this display. It is a cultural treat.

And they said Coin collectors knew nothing about culture.

Actually Rggoodie I did have the chance to see the exhibit some years back at the DeYoung Museum in San Francisco. I have to agree with you the work was breathtaking.

The non-gold pieces, such as the statuary, was just as beautiful. I would suggest anyone who gets the chance to view it would never regret the time spent.

Could you guys ship some of this stuff to Indy so we can partake? The Egyptians were ahead of their time, in many areas, and I do believe there is much more to the story than we have ever been told but do see it ALL finally coming out in the next 10 to 20 years. I am surprised they didn't put a keg or two in the Pyramids for the Kings to drink in the after life? Oh, you can send some of that over here too! We will figure out how to open the can!
Rest in Peace

Gee Crystalk I thought you knew that they did leave a lot of Ambrosa for the kings to dring. Thre problem was that some of the Egyptian wine-o's heard about it and broke into the pyramids and threw a beach party.

Yeah, that would explain it alright! Try to hide a case of Bud at a Nascar track and see if it remains hidden! Will give the beer industry credit---their commercials are hilarious!
