PCGS thought it deserved to be in a MS 63 holder and it's CACed (green). I like the toning. Thanks guys. When I receive it in hand I will post a better pic to show it's true color which is more of a rose gold and alot of the contact marks are scratches on the holder.

Jaobler- My thoughts exactly I Wanted something different than the same "bland yellow gold color" that is usually seen on 1907 D HE.

Comparing this half eagles color to the others on the dealers web page is what caught my attention to its unique eye appeal. The CAC cert. and dealers good rep. Aided in me pulling The trigger in purchasing this coin admittedly. Always a tiny bit nervous buying coins online when work doesn't allow me to buy at a show, elsewhere, etc. Curious if anyone has ever been persuaded by the community to buy or not buy a coin?

Update! I Received the coin and I'm very happy. The picture does not represent how minimal the contact marks really are.The toning and reflectivity is amazing for a mint state coin that has a proof like look to it. which is why it CAC'd. When comparing this 1907 D to the 1893S also in a PCGS ms63 holder it is night and day! Maybe that's because San Francisco half eagles are known to have patches of copper toning if anyone can add to this would be appreciated. I think I'm on my way to having a solid liberty head half eagle mint set. 4 to go! Southern mints and Carson City... Probably need to have a talk with the fiance before making any of those purchases

Congrats. As a PCGS/CAC MS63 it must have better color/luster/eye appeal than the original photos demonstrate.
