Buenos Aires, Argentina, to Bolivia ... this "bit" started as a 1 real, struck at the Potosi, Bolivia Spanish colonia lmint, traveled to China, where it was cut down, cut with test marks, & has many tiny chop marks from Chinese merchants, as well as at least 1 chop mark from Indonesia (larger chop) ... it was also holed, to wear for safekeeping. The tiny hole would have only accommodated wire (most likely), a secure way to safely transport silver coins (as a necklace) ...the use of wire, rather than string, indicates most probably worn by a Northern European sailor or merchant...
...the coin is only about 1/3 of it's original weight (originally 3.3g) ... but there is enough detail left to identify it's origin & era ("1" / denomination visible, "Y" / Potosi assayer Diego de Ybarbouru, who served off & on between 1701 & 1727 & a partial, upper part of the mint mark "P" (Potosi) ...

How about when a coin is played by somebody, THAT particular coin would be placed on a 3 month moratorium for that player and cannot be re-played until that 3 month 'waiting period' has passed. With all the pages we go through in a few days, I think it can be acceptable play procedure.
And any player can call out another for playing a coin too soon - and the play would revert to the last country played (just like going back to a country that was just immediately played)
