Dearborn, the 2X2 said "Muscat and Oman" but I didn't recognize it as one of their regular issues. Definitely worth the $3.50 I paid for it.

From what I read Muscat and Oman had issued the coin exclusively for the Dhofar Governorate region.

umm, Dhofar is part of Oman, so we've gone from Oman to Oman.

Otherwise it would be difficult to move to / out of a state / city in the interior of these countries, and we would miss out on seeing some really cool coins.
