From one of the Atlantic Seaboards most harsh climates to one of its most salubrious. SPM has a near arctic climate with average temperature of 3c, yet Bermuda just 15 degrees latitude south has a climate that is warm subtropical and average temperature of 22c. Whereas SPM has 6 months of snow, it has never fallen in Bermuda. Bermuda 25 cents 1970. The reason, SPM sits in the freezing Labrador current and Bermuda in the very warm Gulf Stream.
