...Leaving the beautiful coastal city of Lima, Peru, we make the perilous overland journey, 906 miles over the rugged mountainous terrain, into Bolivia, to one of the highest cities in the world (elev.: 13,420 ft.), Potosi, Bolivia.  Once part of the Vice royalty of Peru (Spanish colonial times), Potosi sits on "Cera Rica" mountain, the largest deposit of silver known in it's day.  Potosi was a beautiful, booming city in that day, one of the largest cities in the know world.  the Potosi mint is the longest producing mint in the New World, being in operation since 1574 ... here's a later, early 1600's, example of mint production, under the infamous assayer Tapia ... dyslexic, his work contains many anomalies ... notice on this cob that there is the letter 'Z' in place if a Roman Numeral II, where the denomination is placed to the right of the sheild ...

..now, we're headed from Russia, port city of Vilyuchinsk, Siberia, out the Bering sea, almost 6000 miles south through the Pacific, to the warm, sunny Cook Islands, where swim suits are apparently optional ... (fashion accessory added...)
