Not PMD. That's a Peeled Lamination error. Nice find and it is 2x2 worthy.

Definitely not a PMD and I don't think it is a peeled Lam either. I am with Crazyb0 on this one it does match the characteristics of a Struck thru. Wood fragment.

Sorry about that OldJoeClark. I thought it was a Peeled Lamination, but it wasn't. Struck Through wood grain makes more sense.
