I got this in a lot, and it was identified as Ptolemy. I don't see any just like it. A friend referred me to look at Boeotian issues. I cant really tell.
The reverse seems to have next to nothing on it. It may be corroded off/worn off. It LOOKS like it was always that way (to my untrained eye).
Does anyone here recognize it?

Definitely not ptolemaic. If you turn the reverse about 15 degrees clockwise, I see legs wide apart... maybe a javelin thrower or soldier/diety in heroic pose?

Probably not a match but I think Finn may be correct with a javelin thrower. Legs look a bit off but maybe something similar?

Example from SICILY - MESSANA here: https://www.acsearch.info/search.html?id=3815436
