Crazyb0 Rest in Peace 10197 Posts	Posted 12/06/2017 10:44 pm Remember markers can change, come and go depending on where in the dies life that coin popped out. Just how far you want to go with markers is up to you. I will usually do the linear placements first, it matters less what die state to me. I'll use coppercoins for 95% of my initial IDing. I take your pic put it in a window and run CC minimized so I can scroll down their listing with yours off to the right. Once I see a possible match, rough location, shape, I copy that example then do the line tricks. If the line tricks don't discount or collaborate right there, THEN I go to VV over Wexlers, just easier to navigate. I like CC because some are cross referenced. Markers are only needed if I have a worn coin that I'm trying to pull the rabbit outta the hat on Report this Post to the Staff

I started out just looking for copper and maybe another big one and ended up in the bushes watching for RPM's and the like. No rhyme nor reason to what I'm doing, just having fun.
