Hello everyone,

I was wondering if anyone knows what 1968 Dollar Coin this is? I just bought it today from a antique shop , he charged me $12 bucks for it felt like I paid alot since ... I don't know anything about coin grading coin conditions and also what to look for I liked it cause it looked clean, went to the internet to check but they all looked the same to the untrained eye lol... So here is the Observe/Reverse and the close up of the water line and island.

The normal reverse for 1968 nickel dollars have the first horizon line doubled. DHL #1 and the standard reverse are the same thing. Looks like Coins and Canada hasn't updated their page yet.

If it is DHL #2, all the horizon lines should be doubled. Another marker is the tip of the feather in the indian's head.

See this thread for an example of DHL #2: http://goccf.com/t/296915
