Laminations and die cracks are common for the war time series of Jefferson nickels.

I do not see anything in your photographs that is unusual ... expect for the blackend spot on Jefferson bust that could have been caused by a number of mechanisms.

To my eye this is a typical 1943 Jefferson nickel with heavy circulation wear.

I think on a 1943-P DDO affects the eye area not the 3 in the date.
Rest in Peace

Although this isn't anything special, I can see why you would ask. Keep searching. We have folks report neat finds here almost every day.

Wait....the first image looks like it could be the doubled eye variety. Can you post some images closer to Jefferson's face?

I think it may just be a trick of light when comparing to the other 2 images, but you can never be too sure!

Also, I kept all silver Jefferson nickels I find.

In the 1st image (in the area circled below), it appears there could be the doubled eye. But it doesn't seem to be the case in the other images. Definitely could be something to check out.
