Coops' coin is a Denver and 001.You need to compare apples to apples not apples to oranges . John1

Actually the illustrations he posted show the standard 1934 against the doubled. Those distinctions would have been no different in the P. The only distinctions would be the die markers. In fact, here's a mint state P with the same "Normal" distinctive features as what COOP cited. Just two of the examples, although I could have kept going.

The doubling on 006 is actually well below the date. Here is a pic of mine and an overlay that details the doubling. Your coin seems to show Machine Doubling and circulation wear

Thanks Stoneman. What about the 1 in the date, the thick Liberty, the thick N just like the pic and the 9 seems to be just like the pic (you can have DDO and md). Anyway, not trying to be argumentative and it's not a valuable coin or anything. However, I am just saying ignoring the date (differences in opinion), all the other features match imho.

Are you saying that you feel this is a doubled die ? The OP's coin displays what I normally associate as circulation widening of the devices. Especially note the TY of Liberty. The 193 of the date showes eather damage or MD'ing. The widening of the devices showes none of the distortion which defines a class VI doubled die like my 1934-DDO-002 shown here. ( Sorry, I'm on my phone and don't have access to the detail pics.) PS , Thanks ! I got lucky
