Cast counterfeit. Note the many casting bubbles on the surface that look like pits. Plus, there is no way a 21 would have this circulation pattern.

After I looked at this further, the font doesn't look right and the surface color is odd. I'm almost 100% sure it's counterfeit.

Thank you guys. You guys saved me around $100 on this one. Something about it didn't look just right but I also do not know all that much when it comes to Peace dollars. This forum is truly a great resource! |

My first thought was that it is fake. It could just look odd due to a cleaning, so I'll say VF-30.

Yap.. color does look funny..
There are tons of counterfeit 1921 Peace, so I would stay away.
