I sure don't like the surface color. Have you checked the weight on this one?

Cast counterfeit. Note the many casting bubbles on the surface that look like pits. Plus, there is no way a 21 would have this circulation pattern.

After I looked at this further, the font doesn't look right and the surface color is odd. I'm almost 100% sure it's counterfeit.

Thank you guys. You guys saved me around $100 on this one. Something about it didn't look just right but I also do not know all that much when it comes to Peace dollars. This forum is truly a great resource!

My first thought was that it is fake. It could just look odd due to a cleaning, so I'll say VF-30.

Yap.. color does look funny..
There are tons of counterfeit 1921 Peace, so I would stay away.
