1972 P Lincoln Cent Found In BU OBW Roll From Ebay! It's Wdoubled Die Obverse / DDO -003!

Errers and Varietys Bedrock of the Community United States 74129 Posts	Posted 12/18/2017 10:01 pm i found this beautiful Doubled Die Obverse from my first roll and it was the only one I found out of 100 cents from the rolls I gone through. It appears to be in a Later Die State,not sure which one though. It is etheir Mid Die State or Late Die State. It shows Machine Doubling in the date, but remember, Doubled Dies CAN have Machine Doubling too as it does happen sometimes! I am wondering which number it could be. It's etheir WDDO-007 or WDDO-003. Help would be great and appreciated. Edit: I compared die markers on Coppercoins.com and it's DDO-003 in a Late Die State as I found every matching marker. Errers and Varietys. I bought it from a very reputable seller on ebay that sells truly OBW rolls. I am pretty sure it is WDDO-003 which I have never found before. Errers and Varietys. Report this Post to the Staff

I checked the die markers and it is DDO-003 and it's in a Late Die State because I found the matching markers for its stage. This die was definitely close to the end of its life. I now have DDO-003, 005, 006, 007, and 008! I have only bought one DDO on ebay. That was DDO-008. That means I have found most of them myself already. I just keep getting lucky most of the time and this was a big surprise from the roll. Best BU find from a OBW roll. This proves that that they're still out there in OBW BU rolls.
