Note that our hands really do have enough "stuff" on them to show up on coins if we hold them as you are doing - especially on copper coins. Holding coins by their edges is strongly recommended. If you have BU coins, don't hold them like this because they will get badly fingerprinted and the grade will go down, lowering its value. The sweat on our hands ruins the coin if we're not careful.
