It looks uncirculated, but even if it comes out without damage it's not rare and would value only slightly above bullion. The coin itself would sell to a gold buyer for about $600 if you separate it. Sell the bezel separately. I've sold gold bezels before and they're not highly valued, typically only 10k scrap value, so worth much less than the coin itself.

I like eagles set in belt buckles much better. This coin is too clunky to use for a cufflink.

Hopefully any rim damage will be minimal. It would be a shame for a coin like that to be worth only bullion value.
