That's an impressive achievement. Congratulations. I love the neo-classics. Hermann MacNeil and Adolph Weinmann designed the most attractive coins the US ever saw (IMO)

Nothing short of SUPERB!
In your opinion, which date/mm was the hardest to find...not only in assigned grade, but also when viewed in hand?
How many AU graded coins did you look at?
How long to complete this set?

The toughest coin to find in slider unc was the 1919-D. Eventually I gave up and bought an MS-64 from Gary Adkins. I added in some nice mint state coins for some of the more common dates when I found them, though the original goal when I started was all slider unc. I started in 1988, but took about a 25 year break in the middle. I decided to finish it up about 3 years ago.
