chafemasterj Pillar of the Community United States 6514 Posts	Posted 11/10/2019 1:28 pm A really cool 3D 1930 LWC. I've never seen these 'pop up' type counterstamps until recently. Third one I've ran across in the past few months. I wonder if the image is depicting a particular indian chief or if it is a more generic image. I didn't take an image of the reverse but there is evidence of some residual solder. This was probably initially meant to be used as a pendant or pin. chafemasterj Pillar of the Community United States 6514 Posts	Posted 11/11/2019 1:14 pm 1951 LWC counterstamped '1955' and engraved above the date 'NYY'. The 1955 New York Yankees won their 21st pennant but lost the World Series in 7 games to the Brooklyn Dodgers. Can only assume the counter stamp and engraving were done by a fan celebrating the pennant win.
