Just Got 2 Rolls Of Unsearch/Unc 2017-P Lincoln Shield Cent / LSC

MontCollector Pillar of the Community United States 2403 Posts	Posted 12/25/2017 01:25 am These were sent from a friend on the east coast from a box he got at his bank. This is the 1st UNC rolls I have gotten. The banks around here have never had any when I went to buy rolls and they won't order boxes for anyone. So these are really hard to get here especially the Philly ones. Anyways I really haven't heard of any major errors in 2017. Are there any? Are these worth searching through? Crazyb0 Rest in Peace 10197 Posts	Posted 12/25/2017 02:28 am Mont, depending on who ya talk to...Coop doesn't think there are any known DDO / DDRs, but some I've read say there is a DDO-001, Mrzllewellen had a past thread where we went back and forth about some he had, even sent me a few to view in hand. I had seen in a catalog fro a coin outfit in TN that they were saying DDO with similar pix as Zach's. In hand it isn't but under the scope it looks like something...smoke and mirrors I think...jury still ou. One thing I know has been found is a die clash showing a raised P of E PLURIBUS by coat under Liberty. Report this Post to the Staff
Mrzllewellyn Pillar of the Community United States 1901 Posts	Posted 12/25/2017 03:16 am Enjoy them I enjoyed my first 100 2017 Ps then I got tired of them by uncirculated 2017 p number 1000 then on and on to well over 16000 searched I can see what crazyb0 is talking about under my loop but I use a 60x loop so that may be it? I don't know spruett will be recieving 2 of those cents thought to be doubled dies I think in the mail any day now but I'm not sure if I sent him those or not I did find a spiked head set it aside to picture and all but my 3 year old daughter who is in love with searching and looking at coins with me got it and I haven't seen it since lol but nothing special but a lot of die scratches and a chip and crack or two on reverse so hope you have better luck then I did good luck my friend Edited by Mrzllewellyn 12/25/2017 03:29 am Report this Post to the Staff

If I do find anything of interest, I'll post it. I'm learning more about LSC DDs, but they are more difficult because of the incuse design elements. I only use a 10x loop and this probably the reason why. Still looking for my 1st Spike Head as well so I just might have to break these open.
