I got a 1798 large cent on ebay for $22. I'm pretty sure it has the reverse of 1795, which would make it rare. I think it would get a FR02/AG03 in present state. I'm really thinking of grading the coin. Any advice?

To give you any advice of value we would need to see photos of the coin in question. And

Leave it as is. Any attempt to clean it could be disastrous to its value.

Based on those (poor) pictures I'd say Fair-02 at best.
