This roughly rectangular copper coin weighs 11.8 grams and measures 22-24 mm across between flat sides. It comes from India. The closest listing and style I've found is from Lunavada approximately 1890, but not an exact match. The Lunavada coins are roughly rectangular like this one, and paisa KM #5 (without a photo) lists 2 sabres, but the weight listed (6.5-8.3g) doesn't match and I don't see any with the plant on the reverse. Below are two sets of obverse-and-reverse photos taken in differing light. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

This coin looks similar in construction and style to the Jhabua paisas of Gopal Singh, 1840-1895. Although this design is not shown in Krause, it says in the book that other designs were made. The Jhabua paisas have irregular shapes and large dots similar to this coin. Anyway, that's the closest thing I've found so far.

Because of its irregular shape, large dots, and crude design, I suspect that this other unidentified coin is from a similar time and place. It has a weight of 15.03 g and measures 19-21 mm across.

I think the coins of Gopal Singh would not have a cross in that style

Thanks for the suggestions, Petrus. I'll look into possibly posting on Numista or Zeno.

Me neither. I know what you mean. Haven't seen anything like these anywhere so far.
