John, indeed, Class V.b1 - flat top R's - no stops in obverse legend, stops in reverse legend; cf. Spink 1351

Short cross penny, I can discern ON WINC on the reverse, so probably Miles or Andrev for the moneyer, Winceastra (Winchester) mint, ca. 1199-1215/16

Rev: (?) ON.WINC

All of John's issues are scarce. This one is quite presentable and does not have appear to been clipped.
